Croatian dolls

The 8" doll pictured here is from Croatia although the costume is not specific to any particular region. It is a very well made doll with the hand stitched daisy design and lovely brown leather shoes with red thread detail. I have seen one or two other of these Narodna Radinost dolls in what I would describe as a general Croatian folk costume with different embroidery designs often featuring the colour red.
