Bosnian and Herzegovinian dolls
The two dolls pictured are wearing traditional clothes from the Mostar region of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They wear the long white woollen vests common to the region with beautiful hand woven aprons and bags. Jewellery and belts were an important part of dressing in the Balkan region and the gold metallic thread belts and coral bead necklaces worn by these two 8" stockinette dolls hint at that.
